North Brisbane Wedding Photography
As experienced photographers we’ve worked in many venues across Brisbane and have learnt all the best spots for photos. Glengariff is an incredible venue with so many opportunities for amazing photos both inside and out. For Zepporah and Jacques we captured an array of shots in the beautiful grounds along with as our personal favourites – photos of the bridge and groom at the piano in the Estate Room.

“I really liked the website had all the information available and I didn’t have to send away to find out pricing. The website had everything I wanted and when I asked Jeff about his availability he replied promptly.

Jeff and Terri were amazing on the day. They were very comfortable to be around, we felt relaxed and they were very reassuring, giving us lots of great feedback and complimenting the shots as we went.
We got the photos back in about 3 weeks and we are so happy with them and honestly picking out our favourites to print out for the package is really hard we still haven’t been able to.”

We asked bride Zepporah to spill the beans on her journey from proposal to wedding day, including which vendors she chose…
How did the proposal happen?
It was my birthday and I planned a trip to Melbourne. Jacques organised the dinner at The Press Club. Being a celiac he made sure that I had my own chef, it was a 5-course degustation including a paired wines. The dinner was amazing and at the end he got down on one knee and proposed it was magical.
After that he took me across the river to the Eureka Tower Skydeck and the view was amazing. When we got back to the hotel he had secretly arranged a room upgrade to an absolutely beautiful room almost 3 times the size of the one I book and with a massive balcony, there was champagne and strawberries and chocolate and rose petals all over the bed oh and 2 beautiful swans made out of our towels.
What did you do for a hen’s night?
I went to The Little Big House at Southbank for dinner with my girlfriends and then we did karaoke.
And the buck’s night?
Jacques didn’t have a buck’s night but my boys “the groomsmen” went on a motorbike ride with him.
Where did you get your outfits?
I got my dress from Ferrari formalwear & bridal. I did the beading, added extra lace and embellishment which made the design into a custom one.
The Bridesmaid dresses were Review dresses and I also added the beading to them.
The boys for their suits and alterations done through Imperator Menswear in Milton, George Sano was absolutely amazing in organising everything, he was very down to earth.
Who was the Wedding Planner?
I did all the planning and styling myself and am now looking at making a business out of it.
Who was your hair stylist?
Rachelle Barrett did all out hair and makeup and she was fantastic
What did you do for Flowers?
My flowers were silk flowers from Flowers for Ever After from Melbourne. Maria was happy to add the Black Rose into her design for my dad for me.
Where was the Ceremony?
Glengariff Historic Estate in the Brisbane Hinterland. Channing and Brice and the team were amazing. They took care of all the catering, and reception as well.
Who was the celebrant?
Jarrad Bayliss and one of the reasons why I picked him was because he had a little video on his website so the fact that I could hear his voice made the decision so much easier, and also he made me laugh in the first 2 minutes of talking to him.
What Entertainment did you have?
Brent from Decibels took care of being our DJ, MC and all the reception lighting.
Tell us about where the cake was from?
The Cake was from Bonnie’s Cakes & Kandies. Bonnie does completely Gluten Free. The bottom layer was raspberry and white chocolate mud cake the middle was red velvet mud cake and the top was macadamia mud cake. Bonnie did an absolutely amazing job, I gave her an idea of what I wanted and then I told her to surprise me. As I planned and styled everything else I wanted at least one surprise and I was so happy with it.
First Dance song?
Calum Scott & Leona Lewis. Duet – You are the reason.
We had dance classes with Wedding Dance Diva Kylie Strickland was amazing and all it took was 5 lessons and we were pros, well maybe not haha, but Kylie was very friendly and down to earth I would recommend her to anyone, the lessons are private and encouraging.
